Lekki Seaport construction nears completion

In May 2021, we posted news about how Nigeria’s ports are slowly opening up for business (click here to read). Further to our accurate assessment and prediction promoters of the Lekki Deep Sea Port project, Lekki Port LFTZ Enterprise Limited, have now disclosed that the port will commence operations before the end of the year as it had successfully reached 85 percent completion in February 2022.

According to a news report by The Guardian, the project, which is expected to become the deepest port in sub-Saharan Africa, is on course for completion in September 2022 and will be operational by the end of the year.

Upon completion the multi-purpose, Deep Sea Port at the heart of the Lagos Free Trade Zone, will be one of the most modern ports in West Africa, offering enormous support to the burgeoning commercial operation across Nigeria and the entire West African region.
